Why did you want to be a Council Member?

Because I wanted to be a part of the first "sportacracy" in american professional sports. I also wanted to make sure that the club listened to its fans in a productive and efficient manner-which in the process has the potential of making the Sounders fan base one of the most loyal in american sports.

What are your goals as a Council Member?

Retain the authenticity of the game of soccer and conveying to the american sports fan that a soccer match is a unique and different sporting experience with respect to the other big 4-and I tend to believe it has the potential of being even better than other american sports.

When did you know that the Sounders would be a 'big deal?'

2007, when we saw the ownership group associated with the franchise history.
