Alliance Council
Council members are voted in on a biennial basis with terms extending up to two years. Alliance Members interested in participating on Council must receive a minimum of 25 nominations from other members of the Alliance.
The Alliance Council will meet monthly as well as planning and hosting the End of the Year Sounders FC Business Meeting in cooperation with the Club.
Each Council member will serve as a liaison between Alliance members and the ownership group.
A select number of Council members will also be chosen by ownership to serve on the Sounders FC Advisory Board – a board made up of ownership, technical staff, corporate partners, and members of the soccer community.
Council member responsibilities
Attend Council MeetingsMembers of the Alliance Council are required to attend monthly meetings during their term.
Council members will be required to attend the annual business meeting at the conclusion of each season.
Serve as the voice for Alliance members, other fans, and match attendees. Council members will be responsible for gathering comments, suggestions and criticisms from Alliance members and present them to the ownership.
Report to the ownership on the pulse of the Alliance.
Be tuned into the match-day environment in your seating section.
Have a desire to see the Alliance succeed and become the cornerstone of other sports teams wanting to see their fans have a more pronounced voice.
