Tell us about your involvement in the soccer community
April played on many select teams growing up as well as playing as part of the ODP. In addition to her youth playing experience, she was a walk on at Washington State University and played as a guest player for a Danish Club team. As her competitive playing days slowed down, April became a License coach and has coached everywhere from youth to college levels. Currently she is coaching at HPFC here in Seattle.
Tell us about your involvement within the community
April has been an active member with every community she has lived. While living in NYC she coached several community youth teams and sat on the Board of Directors for an non-profit inter-city youth soccer program. She help to run after school programs as well as helped provid soccer scholarships to children in need.
Why should you receive the Golden Scarf?
Because April's love for the game can be felt far beyond the walls of Quest Field.

Forever in seattle soccer, he and his twin brother tried out for the Sounders back in the 80's when there were open tryouts.
Tim is now the coach of highline HS boys varsity soccer, and girls JV. He has also been a Washington Teacher of the year.

Tim has had a love of soccer his whole life and passed that on to countless young people.

Tell us about your involvement in the soccer community
I provide financial support so that Soldiers children can learn and play soccer.
Tell us about your involvement within the community
I work with children who are struggling academically and volunteer as a reading tutor and English as a Second Language translator for Spanish Speaking parents and children. I volunteer with my church Youth Group and teach Confirmation classes. I also volunteer with cancer survivors as I have been undergoing ovarian treatments for the past year.

Tell us about your involvement in the soccer community
Ram is the Chairman of the Washington State Referee Committee, and has volunteered his time for decades for Soccer in Washington, especially youth Soccer. As head of the organization that oversees the 4500 USSF certified referees on a purely volunteer basis, Ram has devoted an immense amount of time to the sport, and has shepherded in numerous improvements to support the referees who in turn support the game we love in this state.
Tell us about your involvement within the community
Ram's day job was as a manger at Boeing, and has numerous civic and community activities, both soccer and non-soccer related.
When Ram was on the leadership team of Lake Washington Youth Soccer, he was instrumental in bringing the 60 Acres soccer fields to life.
Why should you receive the Golden Scarf?
Ram has created a referee environment that supports this beautiful game throughout the state!
