2010 FIFA World Cup

32 Countries, 32 Bloggers, One Trophy

SoundersFC.com will have 32 fans covering every World Cup match this summer, painting a picture for the Sounders FC community showcasing the essence of every beautiful game (and of course how rubbish the other side or referee performed).

There will be rants; there will be raves; there will be accounts of glory and simply chronicles of days and nights at the pub following your counrty ... there will NOT, however, be boring rehashes of what every fan can read on any sports page.

These stories, will combine to represent all 32 countries and 64 matches in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and featured daily on SoundersFC.com showcasing the day's competition put together in a head-to-head format.

CelticThe 32 selected bloggers will receive a pair of tickets to the Sounders FC friendly against Celtic FC on July 18, 2010 and given exclusive access to a training session that week.

The 5 Requirements:

  • Love soccer and your country
  • Be as creative, passionate, and biased as you like
  • No profanity, vulgarity, or racist comments allowed (we will edit if necessary)
  • Commit to writing up to seven (7) stories
  • Must be able to email your post by 4 pm PT after each match.
