The Seattle Sounders FC and our community partners are dedicated to making a positive impact on the Pacific Northwest community.  Through soccer programs and the participation of our players, we are committed to the healthy development of youth in our region and around the world.

Seattle SCORES is an after-school program serving 400 youth in the ethnically diverse areas of Burien, White Center, Tukwila and South Seattle.  Their programs combine writing, soccer and community service to encourage academic success in elementary school age children. Through fundraising and player appearances, Sounders FC will partner with Seattle SCORES to empower children to become lifelong learners and leaders in their communities.

For 65 five years the Boys & Girls Clubs have served the Seattle and King County communities.  Over 18,000 youth participate in King County Boys & Girls Clubs programs in 14 regional clubs. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need the club most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.  The Seattle Sounders FC, Microsoft X-Box and the Boys & Girls Clubs have partnered to provide mentoring opportunities and game day experiences for Boys & Girls Club members.

Washington Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit and educational organization whose mission it is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of the state of Washington’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels and ages of competition.

Over 130,000 youth ranging in age from 5 to 19 participate on WYSA programs representing over 12,000 teams and 250 soccer clubs. WYSC is the 6th largest youth soccer association in America and works in partnership with US Youth Soccer and the U.S. Soccer Association. SFC supports the WYSA through soccer camps and fundraising opportunities.

The Seattle Sounders FC, in partnership with Soccer Saves have aligned with Save the Children to support their programs in Africa using organized soccer as a platform for healthy lifestyle education for youth 10-18 years old. The primary focus is on comprehensive education, health and advocacy efforts to promote healthy lifestyles, including prevention of pregnancy and HIV.

Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change for children in need in the United States and around the world. It is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance, a global network of 27 independent Save the Children organizations working to ensure the well-being and protection of children in more than 120 countries.
