2010: Started and played full 90 minutes in 2010 opener vs. PHI (3/25) and in home win vs. COL (7/25).

2009:Made final roster following first preaseason and tryout with Seattle. Started six of nine appearances, all at left back, and played the full 90 minutes in the first five matches of the season.

Other Profressional Experience
A regular starter for the final six of his seven seasons with USL-1 Sounders. Played at center back and left back. Member of championship teams in 2005 and 2007. Scored decisive penalty kick in quarterfinal shootout win over Kansas City in 2008 U.S. Open Cup. Totaled 139 games, eight goals (two gamewinners) and three assists in league play. Finished sixth in total league appearances for the franchise (139) and fifth in minutes (11,171).

College
All-West Coast Conference as a senior (2001) for Gonzaga.

Married to Alana. The couple has two children, Kalei and Ka’ena. Son of Lee and Linda. Has two brothers and sisters. Teammate of Houston Dynamo forward Brian Ching for two seasons at Gonzaga (1998-01) and one season (2002) in Seattle. Younger brother Daniel also played for Zags. Graduated from Maui High School in Kahului, Hawaii. Earned all-state honors as a senior.
