Why did you want to be a Council Member?

I have been a Sounders supporter and member of the Emerald City Supporters (ECS) since 2007. I have rarely missed a home match, even when I lived 100 miles away. When I heard that the Alliance Council would give supporters the opportunity to be heard, I knew that it was something that I wanted to be involved in. It’s amazing to be able to have a voice and participate in something that has become such a big part of my life.

What are your goals as a Council Member?

I want to enhance the supporters’ culture and match day experience for all Sounders supporters, at home and away matches. Match day is something that I look forward to all week, throughout the season, and I’d like to be able to pass that feeling and emotion on to everyone else that comes to support the Sounders.

When did you know that the Sounders would be a 'big deal?'

When Montero scored that first goal on March 11, 2009. The energy, emotion, and excitement that I felt in that stadiumwas unlike any that I had experienced and at that moment, I knew this would be huge!

Favorite player (outside of Seattle): Landon Donovan, but only when he’s not playing SSFC!

Favorite Sounder player: That’s a tough one. I love them all! Although, if I had to pick, I’d choose Roger Levesque, James Riley, Kasey Keller, and Brad Evans. (In no particular order.)

Where is your seat?: Section 122, the best seats in the house!
