Why did you want to be a Council Member?

To give Alliance members a voice. The whole democracy in sports idea intrigued me and I very much wanted to be a part of such a wonderful thing.

What are your goals as a Council Member?

To enrich the atmosphere, at both home and away matches, for the fans, because ultimately it is the fans that fuel the match.

When did you know that the Sounders would be a ‘big deal?’

When I placed my season ticket deposit, I had an alarm set for the date and time that deposits were being accepted and despite logging in immediately to place a deposit I was still depositor #550ish, not even a minute into sales. I knew that we were going to be big!! It only got better on opening night with the thousands of scarves tied all over Seattle, and then I knew we’d be huge!
