Seattle SCORES 6th Annual Live Auction & Gala

On Friday, April 24, Seattle SCORES will host its 6th Annual Auction and Gala to benefit the lives of Seattle’s most at-risk youth.

SEATTLE – On Friday, April 24, Seattle SCORES will host its 6th Annual Auction and Gala, “Tiki Nights”, an event to benefit the lives of Seattle’s most at-risk youth.

Seattle SCORES is a non-profit organization focused on empowering children to change their world through writing, soccer and community service.  The program teaches skills children need to become life long learners, to be leaders in their communities and to succeed in life through an intensive, five-day per week after-school program.  Currently, SCORES works with 6 public elementary schools to teach writing, teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership skills to more than 200 children ages 8-12.  Vital life skills learned on the soccer field are translated into the classroom, and then carried on into the community.

Paul Silvi, King 5 News Anchor, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies at the event to be held at SoDo Park Herban Feast from 6pm-10pm on Friday, April 24th. Incredible vacation packages and impossible to obtain sports tickets are being auctioned at the event, including:

• tickets for two to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa;
• tickets for two to the XLIV Super Bowl in Miami, Florida;
• a cruise for two on Holland-America Cruise Line;
• accommodations for a 7-night stay at Apa Kabar Villas in Bali; and
• season tickets to the Seattle Sounders. 

Additional items such as an autographed Seattle Sounders soccer ball, autographed jersey from the Women’s National Soccer Team, and autographed football from Matt Hasselback will also be auctioned plus many, many more items.
