A heartfelt thank you to the best fans in the world who braved and enjoyed the deluge with us in San Salvador last night.
SAN SALVADOR, EL SALVADOR - Following a 1-1 draw in San Salvador opposite Isidro Metapan, the Sounders FC advances to their first Champions League group stage.
We play for club. We play for city. We play for country. We play for our first Champions League trophy. We play for you.
Your sign read "Le Seguiremos Donde Sea" which translates to "We will follow you where ever you will be." And since our inaugural game, this has been a constant truth.
The Sounders Football Club has the best supporters in MLS no doubt. Last night, we showed an international audience why we have the best supporters in the CONCACAF.
Thank you to the many supporters who braved and enjoyed the deluge with us in San Salvador. Soon the world will know why Seattle has the best supporters on the planet.
