Sounders FC players Fredy Montero, Mike Fucito & David Estrada joined fans and volunteers on May 26th to beautify areas around the Cascade Land Conservancy in Tukwila. The event is a part of the Sounders FC United We Serve monthly community enhancement program.
Employees from Seattle Bank and members from the Emerald City Supporters and Gorilla FC supporters groups led the volunteer efforts. The group prepared the site for the summer season by laying sheet mulch and removing wild vegetation.
The Seattle Sounders FC United We Serve community enhancement program in partnership with Seattle Bank, is a monthly side-by-side player and fan volunteer service program. The program provides support for grassroots community based leadership service projects that impact our local community. These projects are led by the Sounders FC fans, supporters, youth soccer players/coaches and civic organizations.
