Did you know Barcelona has it's own island? Weird, wild stuff...
Labor Day Weekend has come and gone with a 1-0 Sounders win over the Columbus Crew being the obvious highlight. It also marked the close of the summer transfer window in Europe where a number of big teams made splashes and others, well, did not. Let's get you all caught up on the fun of the past week...

Erick Torres also scored a pretty nice bicycle kick AND THEN proceeded to do the robot as a celebration. From top to bottom, has to be up there for Goal of the Year. (MLSsoccer.com)

Seattle is only city in country that can draw combined 134,726 for MLS regular-season game and NFL preseason game. Amazing, amazing fans.— Don Ruiz (@donruiztnt) August 30, 2013
