- Coach Schmetzer makes two changes from the scoreless draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps, with Albert Rusnák replacing Nicolás Lodeiro and Reed Baker-Whiting coming in for Nouhou.
- Striker Raúl Ruidíaz is available for selection as a substitute after returning from injury.
- If the Sounders record a clean sheet against St. Louis, Stefan Frei will break break the club record for most shutouts in a single MLS season with 14, breaking his own record he set back in 2017.
