When U.S. Soccer announced it would be playing a World Cup qualifier in Seattle for the first time in 36 years, the city tasked with replicating the same passion and intensity for a soccer match that it shows on a weekly basis for the Seattle Sounders FC.
On June 11th, 2013, it did just that.
Over 40,000 people filled CenturyLink Field to witness the U.S. Men's National Team defeat Panama by a score of 2-0...with the second goal coming from the Sounders own Eddie Johnson.
Now with the match behind us, we want to see it from your perspective! Submit your photos from the event using the #WCQinSEA hashtag to have them show up on our photo wall below and share in the experience that will be remembered by the city's soccer community forever.
