MLS Experience

2013: Made five appearances and logged 31 minutes in first professional season. Made MLS debut in 1-0 loss at SJ (3/23), playing the final six minutes at forward. Played in season-high 10 minutes in 2-0 loss at DAL (10/19). Loaned to San Antonio Scorpions of NASL from June 10 to July 11. Appeared in all 12 MLS Reserve League games and led the team with four goals, including brace in a 3-2 win vs. CHV (7/29).

College

2012: Started all 24 games and scored 18 goals, good for first in the Big 10 and third nationally. Unanimous selection as Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Big Ten selection. Named to Big Ten All-Tournament team and College Cup All-Tournament team. Scored 18th goal of the season in win over UNC in NCAA quarterfinal round. Assisted on the game-winning goal in 1-0 win over Georgetown in NCAA College Cup Final. College Soccer News first team All-American, NSCAA third-team All-American, Soccer America MVP first team, and Chicagoland Soccer News Player of the Year.

2011: Started all 22 games in freshman season and led the the Big Ten in goals scored (10), points (25) and points per game (1.14). Tallied his first career goal and assisted on the game-winner in a 3-1 win over Saint Louis. Scored 10th goal of the season vs. Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament. Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, a unanimous selection to the All-Big Ten first team and Big Ten All-Freshman team. College Soccer News All-Freshman first team, Soccer America All-Freshman first team, Chicagoland Soccer News Player of the Year, and NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region first team.

International Experience

Spent sophomore and junior years as a member of the U.S. Soccer U-17 National Team Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. Helped the U.S. advance to the round of 16 at the 2009 U-17 World Cup and won the Copa Macae in Brazil with the U-17s. Currently a member of the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team pool.

High School

Played his freshman and senior seasons at Westfield High School, scoring 25 goals and adding nine assists as a freshman and 20 goals and 10 assists as a senior. Named 2010-11 Indiana Gatorade Boys Player of the Year. Named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American and ESPN Rise first-team All-American while receiving first-team All-District, All-Conference and All-State honors, and the Indianapolis Star Super Team Player of the Year. As a freshman, named honorable mention All-State, first-team All-District and All-Conference selection. Spent sophomore and junior years as a member of the U.S. Soccer U-17 National Team Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. As both a sophomore and junior he was named a Parade All-American, as well as an NSCAA All-American his junior year.
