TUKWILA, WA - Two first half goals proved to be enough for Westsound Krug to defeat Sounders FC Pre-Academy 2-1 Thursday night at Starfire Sports Complex.
After giving up an early goal, Sounders FC went down 2-0 after surrendering an own goal near the end of the first half. Pre-Academy got on the board in the 50th minute when Jacob Kempf continued his scoring run when he scored on a rebound from a Sean Bowman shot.
The match was hard fought as both the Westsound squad, a U17 squad, and Sounders FC Pre-Academy, a team of U15's, like to play possession soccer.
The Pre-Academy squad plays next Thursday night against Blackhills at 5 pm at Starfire Field #11.
