A goal and an assist against Vancouver earned the Sounders forward the MLSsoccer.com honor.
Lamar Neagle has been a solid and consistent contributor to the rise of the Sounders FC in recent months and on Tuesday, he was named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week for the third time in the last five weeks.
Neagle posted one goal and one assist, bringing his season totals to four goals and three assists, to lift the Sounders to a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in front of 53,679 at CenturyLink Field on Saturday. He was the lone representative for Seattle.
He is joined on the Team of the Week by goalkeeper Bill Hamid (DC United); defenders Chris Tierney (New England Revolution), Stephen McCarthy (New England Revolution) and Sheanon Williams (Philadelphia Union); midfielders Diego Valeri (Portland Timbers), Brian Carroll (Philadelphia Union), Alex (Chicago Fire) and Javier Morales (Real Salt Lake); and forwards Camilo Sanvezzo (Vancouver Whitecaps FC) and Olmes Garcia (Real Salt Lake).
DeAndre Yedlin and Obafemi Martins were named honorable mention for the week.
The Sounders will be out of action this weekend, but will return to the field on June 22 against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium.
