Contest open to fans of all ages
RENTON, Wash. – Seattle Sounders FC announced today a design contest for the 2014 season ticket member’s scarf. The contest is open to fans of all ages from anywhere across the globe. The winning designer will receive one Sounders FC Slalom Experience pitch-side table, consisting of four seats, food and beverage, and parking for one 2014 MLS regular season home match.
The design will be featured on more than 32,000 scarves distributed at the beginning of next season.
Fans are able to use up to four colors and may include text, but must include the Sounders FC crest and submit their design utilizing the provided design template which can be found at SoundersFC.com/scarfvote.
Submissions will be accepted starting today until Friday, August 16 at 5 p.m. (PST).
Members of the Alliance Council will select five options. All 2013 season ticket and Alliance members will be invited to cast their vote starting Monday, August 26-Tuesday, September 3 at 2 p.m. (PST).
The scarf designs will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, originality, family friendly messaging, best represents the Sounders match day experience.
The winning design will be announced on Wednesday, September 4 during the Sounders FC versus Chivas USA match at CenturyLink Field.
