Lineups vs. Philadelphia Union

Brad Evans

The lineups are in at CenturyLink Field as Sounders FC hosts the Philadelphia Union in a 7 pm PT kickoff and a familiar face is back in the lineup for Seattle.

For the first time since March 15, Brad Evans will start for Sounders FC. The midfielder made substitute appearances in each of the last two matches after sitting out four games with a calf injury. His return to the starting 11 comes in a week that Sounders FC will play three matches in nine days.

Evans is slated on the right side of midfield with Osvaldo Alonso and Gonzalo Pineda in the middle and Lamar Neagle on the left.

At forward, reigning Etihad Airways MLS Player of the Month Clint Dempsey, who leads the league with eight goals in just six matches, starts behind Obafemi Martins, who has four assists to share the league lead.

The back four remains the same as it was last week in a 4-1 win over the Colorado Rapids. DeAndre Yedlin starts at right back while Dylan Remick gets his second consecutive start on the left as Leo Gonzalez recovers from a hamstring injury. Chad Marshall and Djimi Traore remain the center back pair in front of goalkeeper Stefan Frei.

The bench is Marcus Hahnemann, Zach Scott, Jalil Anibaba, Andy Rose, Marco Pappa, Chad Barrett and Kenny Cooper.

Starting XI: Frei, Yedlin, Marshall, Traore, Remick, Evans, Alonso, Pineda, Neagle, Martins, Dempsey.
