Sounders Spotlight: 2016 kicks off with schedule release, Homegrown Player signing

2016 is off and running for the Rave Green. In addition to the league releasing the schedule for the upcoming campaign, the Sounders announced the retirement of veteran midfielder Gonzalo Pineda and the signing of its sixth Homegrown Player, Jordan Schweitzer. This week will prove to be a major factor in the club’s focus to develop younger talent with the 2016 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday in Baltimore, Maryland.
