Oalex Anderson, Joevin Jones called in for upcoming World Cup qualifiers

Seattle Sounders forward Oalex Anderson has been called in to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines national team and defender Joevin Jones will join Trinidad & Tobago when the two teams square off in two upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines will host Trinidad & Tobago on Friday before playing the second leg on the road on Tuesday, March 29.

Anderson, 20, has 20 caps for the Vincy Heat and scored a goal in the team's 6-1 loss to the United States in the first round of qualifying in November. He signed a first-team contract with the Sounders earlier this month after making his debut with S2 last year. He's appeared in two of the Sounders' three MLS games this season, coming off the bench in the season opener and in the team's 2-1 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday night.

Jones, 24, joined the Sounders via an offseason trade with the Chicago Fire and has played every minute of the Sounders' three MLS games this season at left back. He's given the team some newfound pace on the left side and helped set up the team's lone goal of a 2-1 loss at Real Salt Lake on March 12, still the only goal the team has scored from the run of play this year.

Jones has 51 caps with T&T in his career.
