TUKWILA, Wash. - Seattle Sounders FC 2 midfielder Zach Mathers is up for USL Goal of the Month for his top of the box blast on the road at Sacramento Republic FC.
After some clever one-twos between forwards Myron Samuel and Andy Craven, the ball fell to Mathers who took a touch away from goal and delivered venomous strike into the back of the net despite falling away from goal.
The goal leveled match at 1-1 away in hostile Republic territory.
