Sounders FC 2 (7-10-6, 27 points) fell on the road by a score of 6-0 to Rio Grande FC on Saturday evening at Toro Stadium, ending its team-record six-match unbeaten streak. Toros midfielder Emilio Perez scored two goals on the brink of halftime, then the host side added four more scores in the second half as the Rave Green suffered its worst loss in team history. In the 38

The Toros opened the scoring in the 44

Just minutes later, Garcia received a pass in the 18-yard-box, made a turn and sent a well-placed strike into the bottom left corner of the goal to take the 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Toros continued the scoring in the 48

minute on a goal by Ruben Luna. From the left post, George Malki received a header and sent a bouncing header to Luna, who was streaking toward the right post. Luna struck a bouncing header into the net for the 3-0 advantage.
In the 81

The Toros then scored twice in second-half stoppage time. First, Kyle Murphy drifted behind Seattle's backline in the opposing area and chested the ball into the net for the club's fifth goal of the match. A minute later, Dzenan Catic collected a pass at the top of the 18-yard-box. On the turn, Dzenan Catic tucked a well-placed shot into the bottom left corner of the net for the final goal of the match.
