Seattle Sounders defender Chad Marshall starts for United States in friendly versus Serbia, earns first cap in seven years

Seattle Sounders defender Chad Marshall is in the Starting XI for the United States national team’s friendly versus Serbia on Sunday.


The start is Marshall’s first cap in over seven years. His last appearance came on Jan. 23, 2010, against Honduras.


Sounders Jordan Morris and Brad Evans begin on the bench in head coach Bruce Arena’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
