Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris starts for the United States in friendly versus Jamaica

Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris is in United States national team head coach Bruce Arena’s Starting XI for their friendly against Jamaica on Friday in Chattanooga, Tenn. (4 p.m. PT; FS1, UniMas).

Defender Chad Marshall started in the U.S.’ scoreless draw against Serbia last Sunday and went the full 90 minutes. Morris entered as a substitute in the 74th minute.

Marshall joins Sounders defender Brad Evans, who did not play against Serbia, on the bench to start against the Reggae Boyz.

Arena made nine changes to his starting lineup from last week, with Graham Zusi and Steve Birnbaum the only holdovers.

Sounders defender Oniel Fisher will start for Jamaica in his first cap since 2010.

This is the United States’ final tune-up match before resuming CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying in March. The U.S. currently sit in last place in the Hexagonal with zero points, having dropped their first two matches. They will host Honduras on March 24 before a road match against Panama on March 28.
