Watch: Jordan Morris scores for United States in friendly versus Jamaica

Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris started for the United States on Friday in a friendly against Jamaica and gave the U.S. a 1-0 lead in the 59th minute.

Dax McCarty picked out Benny Feilhaber, who then combined with Morris in give-and-go fashion to spring Morris for the clinical finish. The goal is Morris’ second in his 14th cap. His first goal came against Mexico in 2015 while a sophomore at Stanford.

Friday’s friendly is the final tune-up game for the U.S. before two crucial CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches in March against Honduras and Panama. The U.S. currently sit in last place with zero points in the Hexagonal.
