Clint Dempsey entered as a second-half substitute in the Seattle Sounders’ scoreless home draw against Atlanta United last Friday, and he certainly did not need long to make an impression.
Dempsey came on for Alvaro Fernandez in the 57th minute and produced highlight after highlight of deft touches and cheeky moves. This all came after Dempsey’s first touch of the game was a powerful header that clanked off the post.
Dempsey has two goals in four games so far in 2017.
