Prior to his appointment with Sounders FC Academy, Bill Crook coached select soccer in Washington state for the past 13 years, most recently with Washington Premier Academy and Washington Premier Girls U18.

Crook also served as Assistant Coach of the Washington Premier FC ’93 Boys from 2006 through 2008. The ’93 team won Washington State titles at U11, U12, U13 and U15, reaching the Region IV Quarterfinals in 2006 and 2008 and Semifinals in 2009.

Crook coached the Mount Rainier FC (MRFC) Santos ‘89 Girls from 2003 through 2008. Santos ’89 won the U18 Washington State title, reaching the Region IV Semifinals in 2008. He also coached the FC Royals U18 Girls in 2001-2002; the MRFC Santos Boys from 1998 through 2000 and the Federal Way Reign Girls U11 in 1998.

Crook played professional soccer for 18 years, beginning with the Seattle Sounders in the 1982-83 season. Besides the Sounders, Bill played for a number of professional teams including: Minnesota Strikers (1983-84); San Jose Earthquakes (1983-84, summers); Tacoma Stars (1984-1993); FC Seattle (Summers); FC Portland (1989); Portland Pride (indoor/outdoor) (1993-1995); Seattle Sounders (1995-1997: Captain; 2 National Championships); Seattle Seadogs (1998: National Champions, Co-MVP); and Portland Pythons.

Crook currently holds a USSF “B” license.

Crook is married to Erin and has four children, Adrianne (26), Jordan (21), Holland (19) and Ike (16).
