2010: NSCAA Second Team All-Midwest Region selection as a senior. Also named to Conference USA Second Team for second time in college career. Started all 17 appearances with one goal and a career-high three assists. Finished collegiate career with 67 appearances, nine goals and five assists.
2009: Started seven of 10 games. Scored two goals on just seven shots. Scored in consecutive games, vs. Cal State Northridge (9/20) and UAB (9/25). Played 88 minutes or more in six of seven starts.
2008: Named to the Conference USA Second Team as a Sophomore. Started all 16 appearances and scored a career-high three goals with one assist. His three goals were third best on the team. Played 90 minutes or more in six games.
2007: Medical redshirt in the 2007 season. Started four games and scored one goal before suffering an injury.
2006: Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team. Played in a career-high 20 games, making three starts. Scored two goals on 15 shots, both game-winners. Earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors (8/28) and also named to CollegeSoccerNews.com’s National Team of the Week (8/27). Named Soccer America magazine’s National Player of the Week (8/27) and MVP of the Golden Hurricane Classic in Tulsa, Okla. Featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd section (9/18).

NSCAA High School All-American. Four-year letter winner at Round Rock High School. Served as team captain. Earned First Team All-District and District Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2005. Member of the U.S. National Team (U-15, U-16 and U-18). Five year member of ODP regional team. Played club soccer with the Austin Capital.
Personal
Son of Leonel and Cheryl. Has two older brothers, Victor and Frankie, and one younger sister, Alexandra. Started a program, Mis Zapatos, to collect and recycle used soccer cleats for underprivileged children. Major in Economics with minor in psychology. Fluent in Spanish.
