2012: Matched club record from 2011 with 13 assists, ranking third in MLS and tied-first with five game-winning assists. Team went unbeaten (8-0-4) when he scored (three) or assist- ed (3). Recorded team record three assists in 6-2 win at CHV (8/25). Scored first goal of season in 1- 0 win vs. PHI (5/5). Set career-high with 27 games played, 25 starts and 2,031 minutes. Ten of his 13 assists resulted in goals by forwards Eddie Johnson (six) and Fredy Montero (four). Recorded three assists in Open Cup and Champions League play. Second on Sounders FC with 26 career assists.

2011: Named MLS Newcomer of the Year and set club record with 13 assists (five game-winning) in his first season, third among MLS playmakers. Added five goals, tied third on the team. Appeared in 26 MLS matches and helped make Seattle’s offense the most potent attack in the league. The team lost just three times with Rosales in the starting XI, going 13-3-6, and team went 10-1-2 when he scored or assisted. Named MLS Player of the Week for his performance against Colorado in week 18 when he recorded an assist and scored the late game-winner. He was named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week a team-high seven times. Recorded assists in his first two MLS starts and scored first goal vs. VAN (6/11).
