Team Administration Director
As Team Administrator, Grant Clark oversees the team’s preseason training camps, team travel, scheduling and administrative issues. He works closely with the coaching staff and players in the day-to-day operation of the team. Clark came to Sounders FC after serving as an account executive for the Universal Sports Group, a professional coaching service provider. The previous five years he spent with U.S. Club Soccer as the Western Regional Manager. From 1995 through 1999, Clark worked as Director of Business and Team Administration for the San Jose Clash/Earthquakes, acting as the primary financial and administrative liaison within the team and MLS. In 2002, Clark served as the Director of Coaching for the Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club and was named Boys Coach of the Year. He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation ‘A’ level coaching license.
Clark is a graduate of UCLA, where he played under Sigi Schmid, served as the team captain and is the three-time recipient of the team’s Most Inspirational Player Award. He currently resides on Bainbridge Island with his wife, Dawn, and children Ian, Andria and Skye.
