Entering his seventh season with Sounders FC, Bart Wiley was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in September of 2014 after spending two seasons as Vice President of Business Operations. In this role, Wiley is responsible for increasing revenue across Corporate Partnership, Ticketing, Suites, and Retail. Also overseeing the management of Marketing, Game Presentation, Community Relations, Fan development, Information Technology, and Stadium Operations.
Prior to his position as Vice President of Business Operations, Wiley spent the four previous seasons as Director of Business Development for Sounders FC. In his first year with Sounders FC, Wiley received MLS Operations Director of the Year award. Wiley served six seasons as general manager of the USL Sounders, where he was responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the club.
Previously he worked as Director of Communications for 711, Net Inc., Director of Communications for NASCAR Grand National Division driver Bobby Hillin and as publicist for former Major League Baseball player Brett Butler. Wiley has spoken at conferences all over the world including the Sport is Fantastic in Australia, CRM, and Fan Engagement in England and Sports Marketing and Selling Tickets in Japan.
