Joe Welsh
Director of Information Technology
Joe Welsh is entering his 10th season with the organization in 2023, and sixth as head of the Information Technology department.  In this role, Welsh manages the communications and technology infrastructure, as well as internal applications and network and data security. He previously served as head of IT for the Anthony’s Restaurants brand, where he specialized in the point-of-sale infrastructure and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
Born and raised as a Seattleite, Welsh received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition, he holds certifications from Cisco, Microsoft and CompTIA and is active in IT related blogs and support groups.
Welsh lives in Beacon Hill with his wife, Kyla, daughter, Abigale, and golden retriever, Bella. Â In his free time, he is an avid DIYer, loves cooking, gardening, and working on French fluency so he can resume his love of all things travel.
