Keller, Ljungberg & Montero Named Inactive 2010 AT&T MLS All-Stars

Kasey Keller, Freddie Ljungberg and Fredy Montero have been added to the inactive MLS All-Star rosterRENTON, WASH. - Goalkeeper Kasey Keller, midfielder Freddie Ljungberg and forward Fredy Montero of Sounders FC have been named three of seven inactive MLS All-Stars, MLS announced today.
Each year, a total of 32 players are named All-Stars in accordance with the MLS Collective Bargaining agreement. Previously, 25 players have been announced to this year's roster, and today, MLS announced the final seven: Goalkeepers Jimmy Nielsen (Kansas City) and Kasey Keller (Seattle), midfielders Joel Lindpere (New York), Robbie Rogers (Columbus), Freddie Ljungberg (Seattle), and forwards Fredy Montero (Seattle) and Conor Casey (Colorado).
Keller, Ljungberg and Montero, whom each played in last year's annual All-Star game, will be inactive due to Seattle's CONCACAF Champions League play-in with Metapán on Wednesday evening on the Xbox Pitch at Qwest Field. First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.
Keller, 40, has started all 18 games and has played the second most minutes in MLS. He is tied for fifth in MLS in games won with six, sixth in saves with 49, and tied for seventh in shutouts with five.
Ljungberg, 33, has started 14 of 15 appearances with three assists. He is second in MLS in corner kicks with 75 and fourth in fouls suffered with 35.
Montero, 23, has started 17 of 18 appearances and has scored six goals and added eight assists. He currently has a league-leading streak of seven games with either a goal or an assist, and is one of two players in MLS to be in the top 10 in both categories
