Sounders FC 2 (5-9-5, 20 points) earned a 3-2 victory over Arizona United SC (4-7-6, 18 points) on Saturday evening at Peoria Sports Complex. Forward Darwin Jones scored for the second consecutive match - this time with a goal on either side of halftime - while midfielder Jordan Schweitzer opened his professional scoring account in the comeback victory. Winner of two consecutive matches, S2 is set to face Cascadia rival Portland Timbers 2 on Sunday, July 24 (5:00 p.m. PT / Live-streamed on SoundersFC.com).

In the 25th minute, Jones gave the visiting side a 1-0 lead. From central midfield, midfielder Zach Mathers found Jones via a lofted through-ball along the right flank. Jones, who streaked past United SC's high backline, found himself one-on-one with the keeper. The second-year Homegrown Player took two dribbles into the opposing area before rifling a shot to the near-post to begin the match's scoring.

Four minutes later, United SC equalized on a goal by Chris Cortez. The midfielder won the ball in his own half of the field, took two dribbles and sent a high-powered shot to the top left corner of the net from 30 yards out to put the match at 1-1.

United SC's leading scorer, Long Tan, gave the host a 2-1 advantage in the 36th minute. From the right side of Seattle's area, Brock Granger sent a cross to Tan, who tucked the ball into the near post while under heavy pressure in front of goal.

On the brink of halftime, Schweitzer scored his first professional goal to tie the match before the break. Forward Myron Samuel's shot ricocheted off the goalkeeper and beyond the 18-yard-box, where the Homegrown Player sent a skilled left-footed chip shot that dropped into the back of the net.

After subbing on for Zach Mathers at halftime, midfielder Emir Alihodzic found Jones breaking toward the goal in the 55th minute. Alihodzic sent the ball behind Arizona's defense, where Jones received the ball in the 18-yard-box and delivered a well-struck shot past the goalkeeper for the game-winning tally.

Goalkeeper Charlie Lyon kept United SC's attack at bay for the final 45 minutes, as S2 earned its second road victory of the season. Ezra Hendrickson's side takes a three-match unbeaten streak into a rivalry match against Portland Timbers 2 on Sunday, July 24 at Starfire Stadium (5:00 p.m. PT / Live-streamed on SoundersFC.com). All information on the S2 Flex Plan, season tickets, group tickets or single-match options, can be found via: www.SoundersFC.com/S2/Tickets.
