NOTES

- Defensive midfielder Osvaldo Alonso is suspended for Sunday’s match because of a red card he received in Seattle’s scoreless draw with the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday at CenturyLink Field. Erik Friberg will start in his stead.

- Captain Brad Evans (re-aggravated left calf strain) and forwards Nelson Valdez (bruised tailbone) and Oalex Anderson (right hamstring strain) are unavailable and did not travel. Evans did not play versus Houston on Wednesday because he was serving a suspension for a red card in Vancouver on Oct. 2.

- Roman Torres is the team’s captain on Sunday with Evans and alternate captain Alonso both out.

- Andreas Ivanschitz was ruled out earlier in the week for Sunday’s match after suffering a right knee sprain on Wednesday. He is also doubtful for the team’s final match of the season next Sunday at home versus Real Salt Lake.

- Defender Joevin Jones returns to the starting lineup after missing the match in Houston because of international duty with Trinidad and Tobago.

- Forward Darwin Jones is on the 18-man roster on Sunday. He was Sounders FC 2’s leading scorer this season, but has not seen first-team game action since he entered as a substitute in the 82nd minute in Seattle’s 2-1 loss at the New England Revolution on May 28.
