The Seattle Sounders will take on the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday in British Columbia (7 p.m. PT; Q13 FOX, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360AM) in their first Cascadia match of the season.
The last time the Sounders played in Vancouver on Oct. 2 last year, Seattle won 2-1 thanks to a one-timed equalizer from Osvaldo Alonso and a late penalty kick from Brad Evans. After a home win against the Whitecaps just a couple weeks earlier, the Sounders wrapped up six crucial points in their quest for the playoffs.
The Sounders are 4-2-3 all time in MLS play at Vancouver.
