The Movement | Seattle Sounders, RAVE Foundation highlighted in MLSSoccer.com documentary series for community efforts

This week, MLSSoccer.com released the latest episode of “The Movement” – a documentary-style content series hosted by former MLS player and current MLSSoccer.com producer Calen Carr. Carr visited Seattle earlier this year to take a closer look at the club’s community initiatives, including the unprecedented move to go carbon neutral in 2019.

You can view the entire episode above or HERE.

The episode also features Sammy the Sounder, the club’s USL-era mascot who was reintroduced this season and serves as an important reminder of the declining orca population in the Puget Sound, and the RAVE Foundation, which is the club’s official charitable arm that targets underserved youth in the greater Seattle area.

Interviews in this episode include Head Coach Brian Schmetzer, Kevin Wilhelm, the CEO of Seattle-based Sustainable Business Consulting, and 11-year-old London Fletcher, a research assistant for Orca Research Trust, who gets an encouraging surprise from Megan Rapinoe.
