The Seattle Sounders are one step closer to returning to action.
On Thursday at 12:30 p.m. PT, MLSsoccer.com will broadcast the official group draw for the MLS is Back Tournament, which is set to kickoff on July 8 in Orlando, Fla.
As the reigning MLS Cup Champions, the Rave Green will be seeded in the top spot for one of the three, four-team Western Conference groups.
One of three seeded teams from the Western Conference alongside LAFC and Real Salt Lake, the Sounders could be drawn into Group B, Group D or Group F. They can only face Western Conference opponents in the group stage, meaning the remaining three spots in each group will be allotted via a randomized draw.
