Nana-Sinkam made his professional debut in a 2-1 season-opening loss to Sacramento Republic FC (March 26), scoring his first professional goal in the fifth minute.


A two-time national champion at Stanford, Nana-Sinkam had an accomplished four-year career with the Cardinal. The defender made 71 total appearances, including 67 starts, and earned All-Pac-12 First Team and NSCAA All-Far West Region Second Team honors as a junior and senior. In his senior campaign, the Cardinal captain was also named a Senior CLASS Award Second Team All-American. Nan-Sinkam’s lone collegiate goal came in 3-2 win against Cal-Berkeley on November 16, 2014.            


The son of Samuel and Peggy, Nana-Sinkam has three older siblings – Christopher, Samuel and Alexandra. Christopher played basketball for Swarthmore College, while Samuel attended Bucknell and played football. Alex also attended Stanford. A product design major, Nana-Sinkam appeared for the Philadelphia Reserves and attended Mainheim Township High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.


Selected No. 22 overall in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. Signed to S2’s roster on March 22, 2017.
