2020 Sounders FC Sports Science Seminar
Presented by adidas
Given the current need for social distancing and the innate human desire for connection, the 2020 Sounders FC Sports Science Seminar is moving to an online format. Taking place on three consecutive Wednesdays in April, our goal is to ignite a virtual conversation where leaders in the sports industry discuss what winning means within their organizations.
With so many different stakeholders involved in a team, each with varying definitions of success, alignment can be difficult. By creating this space, our hope is that we can better understand each other’s perspectives, how we arrive at our conclusions and to foster a sense of collaboration.
When:
- Wednesday, April 15 - 12 – 4 p.m. PT
- Wednesday, April 22 - 12 – 4 p.m. PT
- Wednesday, April 29 - 12 – 4 p.m. PT
Format:
Each day will consist of 45 minute presentations from four speakers that will take you inside their world as an individual stakeholder within their respective organizations. Each presenter will discuss their role, their respective industry journeys, what winning means within their role, and how they communicate cross-functionally within their organizations.
3 - 4 p.m. PT each day will be a moderated roundtable with the presenters including some additional VIP guests.
Registration:
Register below for the 2020 Sounders FC Sports Science Seminar. The price of our annual Seminar in Seattle is $500 but in light of the current pandemic we’d like this event to be as accessible as possible while still supporting the local community.
The total cost is $50 and all proceeds will be donated to the Sounders FC COVID-19 Relief Fund, which will support individuals, non-profits and small businesses in the neighborhoods surrounding CenturyLink Field.
Must register at least 1 hour prior to the seminar to receive access.
