LOOKING FOR A FIFTH: The Sounders are aiming to win their fifth U.S. Open Cup title. The last time the Rave Green were tournament champions dates back to 2014. Seattle is currently tied for the most USOC titles among MLS teams with the Chicago Fire and Sporting Kansas City.

ROAD TRIP: After Wednesday's match at the LA Galaxy, the team will fly directly to Houston to take on the Dynamo on Saturday in MLS regular season play.

GALAXY’S SUCCESS: LA Galaxy has had a history of success in the U.S. Open Cup. The Southern California team holds an all-time record of 35-18-1 in the tournament and are two-time champions of the competition (2001 and 2005).

LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION: A little over a month ago, the Rave Green traveled to Carson, Calif. and secured a win on the road. With the Sounders making their way back to Dignity Health Sports Park, it will be a competitive match up as the Southern California team will strive to flip the narrative and get a win on their home turf.
