Ahead of the launch of FIFA 23 on September 26, EA Sports has revealed the top players in MLS across numerous ratings categories. For the second straight year, the Sounders have five players that have emerged among the top players in the league in several attributes.
Sounders FC Player Notes
- Sounders captain Nicolás Lodeiro maintains his status as one of the top 10 players in MLS with a rating of 78. The Uruguayan midfield maestro is tied with Columbus Crew's Lucas Zelarayán, the LA Galaxy's Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández, and Minnesota United's Emanuel 'Bebelo' Reynoso. Seattle is just one of eight clubs with a player on the top ten list.
- Raúl Ruidíaz comes in at No. 4 in shooting ratings for all MLS players with a score of 79. Despite missing stretches of the regular season due to injury, Ruidíaz leads the Sounders in goals scored with nine goals from 13 starts.
- Yeimar boasts the fourth-highest rated physicality among all players in MLS in FIFA 23 with a score of 86. Fellow Sounders defender Nouhou is just two spots back with a rating of 85.
