Need to get your soccer fix while you’re stuck at home? Check out the latest episode of the Winging it with Zak and Brad as the pair are joined by Sounders FC midfielder Cristian Roldan.

Hosted by club legends Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans, the weekly podcast explores all things Sounders, diving deep into topics as the pair share their expertise. With the Major League Soccer season suspended due to COVID-19, the Zakuani and Evans caught up with Roldan to pick his brain about how he and the team are coping with a break from soccer and social distancing.

“I’m a homebody so this is really easy for me,” said Roldan. “I play video games a lot. I like to watch movies. I like to eat food. So, those three things play hand-in-hand with this [social distancing]. But I’m doing well, hoping everybody stays safe out there.”

The episode also includes tips for social distancing and how the team is staying fit during this layoff, as well as Zakuani and Evans picking Roldan’s brain about his approach to his craft.

“I like to watch a lot of highlights,” said Roldan. “That’s something I’ve always enjoyed, when I’m home or in the hotel room. Watching highlights of guys like [Manchester City midfielder] Bernardo Silva, just guys that are shorter – [Manchester City midfielder] David Silva – that effect the game and aren’t afraid to get into tackles. That really gets me excited for a game. It prepares me.”
