United States national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann has called up Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris for the U.S.’ first two Hexagonal matches in CONCACAF 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying.

The United States will host Mexico on Nov. 11 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, before traveling to San Jose, Costa Rica, to take on Los Ticos on Nov. 15.

This is Morris’ first call-up for Hexagonal qualifiers. He has 12 senior caps with one goal, which he coincidentally scored in a friendly against Mexico in April 2015 while still at Stanford. Klinsmann called up the 22-year-old MLS rookie last month for a friendly against Cuba after leaving him off the Copa America roster earlier this year.

Morris joins teammates Nicolas Lodeiro (Uruguay), Joevin Jones (Trinidad and Tobago), Roman Torres (Panama) and Nelson Valdez (Paraguay), who have also been called into their respective national teams for World Cup qualifiers. Defender Oniel Fisher joins Jamaica for their Caribbean Cup qualifying match against Suriname on Nov. 13, as does defender Damion Lowe, who spent the 2016 season on loan tovNASL side Minnesota United

Lodeiro and Uruguay will host Ecuador on Thursday in a CONMEBOL 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers before taking on Chile in Santiago on Nov. 15. Torres and Panama open the Hex on the road in Honduras on Nov. 11 before hosting Mexico in Panama City on Nov. 15. Jones and Trinidad & Tobago open qualifying at home against Costa Rica on Nov. 11 before playing in Honduras on Nov. 15.

Klinsmann also called up former Sounder and current Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin.
