- Seattle is coming off three consecutie draws against FC Cincinnati, Chicago Fire FC and Red Bull New York.
- Saturday will be the 43rd meeting between the two sides since Seattle joined MLS in 2009, with Seattle leading the regular season series 15-12-15. Sounders FC and LA met earlier this year at Lumen Field, a 2-0 victory for the Southern California side.Â
- Saturday marks Dejan Joveljić's first return to Dignity Health Sports Park since being acquired by Seattle in August. Joveljić played for LA from 2021- 2024 before spending the 2025 and beginning of 2026 seasons with Sporting Kansas City. The Serbian international won the 2024 MLS Cup with the LA Galaxy, scoring the game-winning goal in both the Western Conference Final and MLS Cup Final.
