MATCH RECAP: Sounders FC Draws 1-1 with the LA Galaxy on Saturday Night at Dignity Health Sports Park

CARSON, CALIF. – Sounders FC (7-9-7, 28 points) drew 1-1 with the LA Galaxy (7-10-9, 30 points) on Saturday at Dignity Health Sports Park. After Marco Reus put the hosts up 1-0 with a penalty late in the first half, Seattle’s Paul Arriola found the equalizer in the 81st minute on an assist from Jordan Morris, as the two Western Conference foes each left the match with a point. Brian Schmetzer’s side next continues its road stretch with a trip to face the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, September 19 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (7:30 p.m. PT / Apple TV, iHeartMedia Seattle, El Rey 1360 AM).
