Edson Partida got El Paso on the board first with a goal in the 32nd minute off a feed from Yuma Monsalvez. Omar Salgado tallied a goal in the 70th minute to make it 2-0 and put the game out of reach. El Paso outshot Tacoma in the match by a 15-10 margin.
