SEATTLE, WASH. – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) informs media that the accreditation process for the 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League is open. Sounders FC is set to face Salvadoran club Santa Tecla FC in a Round of 16 matchup, with the first leg in El Salvador on February 22 and the second leg in Seattle on March 1.
Media members not already registered with CONCACAF must begin the accreditation process by registering with the CONCACAF Media Center via the following link: http://sndrs.com/6m53w.
Once approved through the CONCACAF Media Center, media are eligible to apply for credentials to individual matches. Please note that an approval for the CONCACAF Media Center or Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League tournament does not grant access to a match. Users must apply for the specific match they wish to cover.
The application process for each individual Champions League match closes 48 hours before each match and a minimum of five business days are required for processing a Media Center application.
