What a save, Stefan Frei.
The Seattle Sounders goalkeeper pawed away a powerful strike from Toronto FC’s Jozy Altidore on Saturday and has earned a nomination for Week 10 MLS Save of the Week. Altidore settled the ball at the top of the 18-yard-box, spun around and fired a right-footed shot that Frei deflected up and over the crossbar with his left hand.
Coincidentally, Frei made another big one-handed save against Altidore at 2016 MLS Cup that you might remember.
